Is he a real and true friend?

Ive had a best friend for 5 years now but he always trashes my room and doesnt care even when i tell him to clean up. We share same hobbies but hes convinced me to dislike some of my friends and just ignore and not talk to them. I kinda started to not like them anyway but im not the kind of person who just leaves a friend who didnt do anything wrong. Is this kid really a friend even though i can have a blast with him?
